#EVOLAND 2 HYLIAN PUZZLE SERIES#As much as I love Pokémon, I have been mostly indifferent to the spin-offs, but generally love the main series games (though Game Freak have been treading on very thin ice this generation). There are many fans who are completely indifferent to the main series games, but love the Mystery Dungeon, PokéPark, and other spin-off games. I never made much progress with the Oracles games back in the day, but I would love to see a Link's Awakening style remake of those as well (though what I would REALLY love is a beautiful hand-drawn art style to really do the games justice). There are only so many hours to spare on hobbies, and it's often nice to be able to play a game that'll be over in about 5-10 hours. Not every game needs to be a 100+ hour blockbuster. Of course, Link's Awakening lacks the element of exploration that made Breath of the Wild so absorbing (as well as being considerably shorter, more linear, and with little replay value) but nevertheless, it has its place, and I'm glad to see that Nintendo haven't completely abandoned handheld-style experiences with their major IP. I really enjoyed the more simplistic, arcadey Link's Awakening just as I have enjoyed Breath of the Wild. Some like the top-down Zelda games, some like the 3D ones.
